# Epior Power | Visit and Cooperation Talks with Mr. Bernard Lecanu, Former Chairman of the European Data Centre Industry Alliance

On April 16th, Mr. Bernard Lecanu, former Chairman of the European Data Centre Industry Alliance, visited Epior Power, where he was warmly welcomed by the company’s management team. The Chairman of Epior Power briefed Mr. Bernard on the company’s development history, technologies, products and international layout. The two sides also held in-depth discussions on topics including power and energy solutions for data centres (primary and backup), as well as strategies for expanding into the European market.

Mr. Bernard Lecanu is the former Chairman of the European Data Centre Alliance (EUDCA) and a member of the technical panel of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC). He focuses on advancing the implementation and standardization of the EU Data Centre Code of Conduct on Energy Efficiency.

As the leader of EUDCA, a pan-European alliance, Mr. Bernard has long been committed to aligning data centre policies, technical standards and promoting industry best practices across European countries. In his capacity as a JRC technical panel member, he has been deeply involved in the formulation and revision of the EU energy efficiency code, driving its wide adoption and implementation among data centre operators throughout Europe.

After the forum, the company’s chairman and senior management accompanied Mr. Bernard to visit the exhibition hall and production workshop, and gave a detailed introduction to Epior Power’s core products, including gas engine prime power solutions and diesel generator backup power supplies tailored for data centers.
