CSSOPE 2026 specially hosted a national-level procurement delegation from Kazakhstan, headed by directors of three core departments of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan: the Department of International Cooperation, the Department of Oil Transportation & Refining, and the Department of Petrochemical & Technical Regulation. The Chairman of KAZENERGY, Kazakhstan’s top energy industry association, accompanied the delegation throughout the event to coordinate resources. The delegation traveled to China to source high-quality Chinese equipment and technical service providers, unveiling extensive cooperation opportunities covering large-scale equipment procurement, domestic substitution, technological upgrading and local production supporting capacity.

At the exhibition booth, EPIOR showcased complete power generator set solutions tailored for extreme operating conditions at Central Asian oilfields. Centered on three core demands of the oil and gas industry—low-carbon transition, domestic replacement of equipment and adaptation to local operation & maintenance, EPIOR gave detailed briefings to Kazakh procurement officials and energy enterprise executives on product performance, customized modification capabilities, long-term framework supply service systems and experience in coordinated delivery of overseas projects.

During the exclusive one-on-one B2B negotiation sessions, EPIOR held multiple rounds of in-depth discussions with senior officials from the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, representatives of KAZENERGY and major local oilfield operators. Both sides exchanged thorough views on core topics including long-term framework agreements for equipment supply, maintenance and upgrading of aging existing power equipment, localized adaptation and modification of equipment, joint R&D, and supporting investment for oil and gas projects in Central Asia. The Kazakh procurement delegation highly recognized EPIOR’s comprehensive strengths including stable and durable equipment, outstanding adaptability to frigid and complex working conditions, cost-effective performance and comprehensive full-lifecycle after-sales services, and put forward multiple preliminary equipment procurement intentions.
